5/24 - Schedules for Division I and II State qualifiers and regional runner-ups have been updated

5/11 - State tourney preview: D-I up for grabs, Hoban favored in D-II

5/11 - St. Edward captures first Elite title with wins over Moeller, Elder and St. Xavier

4/27 - St. Xavier captures second Wolf Invitational crown in three years

4/24 - It was a huge day for Lakewood St. Edward and northeast Ohio boys volleyball as the Eagles became the first team from their part of the state to win the Centerville Elite. No northeastern school had ever even made it to the championship match of this prestigious tournament which annually pits Ohio's finest against each other. Making their feat even more impressive, the Eagles took down three Cincinnati teams from the Greater Catholic League, Moeller, Elder and St. Xavier. The Greater Miami Conference, which lives in the shadow of the GCL, got a lift when Lakota West outlasted Elder for third. Mt. Vernon avenged an opening season loss to Moeller to take fifth, and the host Elks beat Hilliard Davidson for seventh. All eight teams are ranked in the Division I Top Ten this week.

4/23 - Centerville Elite especially hard to figure this season

4/10 - Season previews: Elder, Archbishop Hoban picked to win

3/29 - The Mt. Vernon quad picked up right where the state tournament left off last year, as four of the state's top teams battled through long matches, with nobody surviving unscathed. Moeller kicked things off with a 25-20, 25-21, 17-25, 25-19 win over the host Yellow Jackets. In the next match, Hoban rallied from 23-24 in game four (after Moeller had just rallied from 21-23), and 9-12 in game five, to take down the Crusaders 19-25, 25-19, 18-25, 26-24 15-12. Mt. Vernon then beat Hoban in four and closed out the day with a 15-25, 25-14, 22-15, 25-20, 15-13 win over St. Edward.

St. Xavier repeated as champions of the St. Charles Classic with wins over Lakota East, LaSalle and Elder.
