- Lakota East stretched its winning streak to 10 straight (21 straight games) by
defeating Kings 15-3, 15-4. Leaders for East: Mike Brausch smashed 10 kills,
John Stahly 9 kills, Bobby Trefilek 6 kills, Nate Corbridge 21 assists.

- Lakota East knocked off cross town rival Lakota West for the
first time in three years in straight games Tuesday evening, 15-13, 15-12. The
Thunder Hawks rallied from deficits of 6-0 and 10-3 for the come-from-behind win
in the first game of the night. In the second game the Hawks dominated the net
with key plays by senior Mike Brausch, who finished with 9 kills. Nate Corbridge
added some excellent setting recording 20 assists. John Stahly had a strong
match with 7 kills. East has won 9 straight matches and in the process has
accumulated 18 consecutive wins, both team records.

Led by the
strong defense and hitting of Mike Brausch (11 kills), Lakota
East defeated Oak Hills 15-5, 15-10 (4/10).
On 4/12, Lakota East won the Loveland Tri-match with victories over Edgewood
(15-11, 15-0) and Loveland (15-4, 15-12). Leading players for the Hawks
were John Stahly with 24 kills, Mike Brausch with 11 kills, Tim Smith with 5
kills and strong serving by Mike Fenech.

- On Tuesday East upended defending GMC champion Sycamore in straight
games, 15-5, 16-14.
The Hawks were led by John
Stahly with 9 kills. Senior Mike Brausch,
returning
from an injury, made his season debut, serving 4 straight
points to lead
East
from a 11-14 deficit in the
2nd game. Brausch notched 3 aces and 6 kills.
