Oct. 5 - Anthony Wayne beats Eastwood, Huron and Clay to win Eagle Invitational. Watterson wins Westerville North Invitational. Lake Catholic nips Villa Angela-St. Joseph 11-15, 15-10, 16-14.

Week 6 Tournament Results

Louisville Assumption wins Nike Classic over Sandburg (Ill.) 15-7, 15-3. Lancaster takes 11th place by beating St. Michael (Texas) 15-11, 15-13. In earlier rounds, Lancaster beat Lockport (Ill.) 15-11, 17-15, and lost to Catholic Memorial (Wisc.), ranked 4th in their state, 11-15, 13-15. 

Oct. 3 results - Jonathan Alder rallies from 1-8 deficit in third game to beat West Jefferson, and win league title, 16-14, 12-15, 15-10. Old Fort in sole possession of first in their league with win over Seneca East 8-15, 15-5, 15-10. Lutheran West beats Cuyahoga Heights 15-11,8-15, 15-13. St. Henry over Versailles 15-7, 15-10. Alter over McNicholas 15-11, 15-7. Westland tops Upper Arlington 15-13, 7-15, 15-10. Lancaster pounds Hilliard Darby 15-2, 15-7. Seton nips MND 15-13, 15-13. Ben Logan, Hubbard and Canal Winchester all win. Marysville now 6-12 after fifth straight win. 

Oct. 1 results - Cincinnati St. Ursula clinches league title with second win over Ursuline 13-15, 15-12, 15-11. Kettering Alter beats Chaminade-Julienne 15-9, 15-9. Huron over Margaretta 15-5, 15-7. Springfield Shawnee topples Ben Logan 15-12, 15-9.
