Volleyball In Indiana.... Please send information about Indiana teams to Ohio High School Volleyball Indiana has several great teams including some that are nationally ranked. Indiana is like Ohio in that they have four sizes of schools: Class 4A (large), 3A, 2A and A (small). The Indianapolis area has several schools with strong volleyball programs. These include: Cathedral, Roncalli, Bishop Chatard and Carmel. In the Muncie area Muncie Burris, Muncie Central and Delta are usually strong. Central and Burris won the Class 4A and 2A titles, respectively, in 2002. In 2001 Delta and Burris won the Class 3A and 2A titles. From a size perspective Burris is the equivalent of a Division III Ohio school. However, they have been a national power for years. Burris won State titles back when Indiana used to have all schools play for one title. Burris was named national champion by PrepVolleyball.com in 2004. There are strong teams in the Ft. Wayne area. Other schools with good programs include Wapahani and New Castle.
