Highlights

09/08/07 - The Mohawks beat Roger Bacon before a huge crowd.

09/06/07 - McAuley senior middle hitter Rachel Krabacher had 18 kills and sophomore outside hitter Hannah Vanarsdall added eight as the host Mohawks defeated Ursuline 25-22, 25-19, 25-18 in a Girls' Greater Cincinnati League volleyball match Thursday night. Krabacher, a four-year varsity starter helped McAuley get past the higher-ranked Lions. McAuley senior setter Michelle Clifford had a huge day with 33 assists. Junior Lauren Meister closed out game 3 and the match with two service aces.

09/01/07 - With today’s victory over Notre Dame (Ky.), McAuley improves to 3-1. The Mohawks dominated games 1 and 2 with great teamwork and strong hitting from Rachel Krabacher and Krista Garbon. Michelle Clifford, in her 4th year as the varsity setter, controlled the tempo of play. Defensively, Lauren Meister and Kaitlyn Grote threw their bodies between the ball and floor to control the back-court. Notre Dame fought back to force a tiebreaker. McAuley jumped out to take the first and final point of game 5, finishing on 5 strong serves from Lauren Meister and 3 monster kills from Rachel Krabacher.

08/25/07 - McAuley beat St. Henry (Erlanger, Ky.) in a tri-match. Host Bishop Watterson squeaked past the Mohawks in the finale, winning the tiebreaker game 28-26.
