Oregon Clay Team Highlights 2002

Summary

Clay beat Bellevue, Toledo Central and host Holland Springfield to win the Golden Spike tournament on Sept. 21. Earlier wins include Tiffin Columbian and Bowsher (who won their Sept. 21 tourney over Anthony Wayne). Clay has lost to Sylvania Northview and Fremont Ross in three, and Norwalk St. Paul in two. On 10/5 Clay finished second in their Eagle Classic, beating Tol. Notre Dame, Genoa 15-13, 12-15, 15-10, then losing the final to Anthony Wayne 1-15, 3-15. On 10/1 Clay beat Fremont Ross in a rematch 15-13, 15-5. Clay is now 16-4.
