Elgin Team Highlights

Summary

Elgin figures to be one of the better Div. III teams in Central District this year. They started 7-0, with three game wins over South Charleston Southeastern, Mt. Gilead and River Valley. Then they lost to Ridgedale. In their Elgin Classic, they beat Hopewell Loudon in a 15-13, 16-14 squeaker, then lost to Fredericktown and Pleasant. They lost to Pleasant again three days later in a league match 15-6, 2-15, 10-15. On 9/28 Centerburg beat Elgin 15-7, 15-8.
