15-3, 15-4 and lost to Big Walnut 11-15, 13-15. In their quad the week before,
Elyria lost to Rocky River 15-9, 14-16, 8-15, beat Normandy 15-10, 15-9 and beat
Solon 9-15, 15-7, 15-8.
Elyria finished third in the Rocky River
Invitational on 9/14, losing to Rocky River in the semi-final 7-15, 10-15, then beating
Mentor 15-11, 15-10. They had just beaten Mentor 15-11, 14-16, 15-5 a few days
before. Elyria also beat Lorain Admiral King 15-7, 16-14. Most of their league
wins have been decisive.
