Sylvania Northview Team Highlights 2002

Summary

Northview won the Irish Invitational on 9/14, beating Fremont Ross, Defiance and Toledo Central Catholic (15-10, 16-18, 15-13). They have a win over Clay and may have beaten Anthony Wayne early in the season. On Sept. 5 they lost a match to Bowling Green 10-15, 15-13, 13-15 and hitter Nikki Pierzchala to an injury. They were fifth at the Magnificat Fall Showcase, losing to Toledo St. Ursula, then beating St. Joseph Academy and Norwalk. On 10/1 they beat Bowling Green in two, after losing in three on 9/26 to Anthony Wayne.
