Highlights
10/23/05 - The Versailles Lady Tigers won their 23rd match of the season
Saturday, en route to their sixth straight sectional championship. The Tigers
defeated Twin Valley South (21-3) 25-15, 23-25, 19-25, 25-23, 15-5. With the
fourth game knotted at 22-22 and the Tigers down 2 games to 1, the team buckled
down and scored 18 of the last 24 points of the match to put away the Panthers.
Versailles will shoot for their sixth straight District Championship against
Waynesville on Saturday at Vandalia-Butler.

09/04/05 - On
Saturday, the Versailles VB team won the 2nd Annual Darke County VB
Invitational, going 3-0 on the day. The Lady Tigers defeated Mississinawa
Valley in the quarterfinals, 25-13, 25-6. In the semifinals they defeated
Ansonia 25-21, 25-7. In the finals, they defeated Greenville 25-14, 25-15.
