East Kentwood setter Katie VanderMeer has committed to Michigan State.

05/20/05 - Zeeland setter Julie Grit will play for Tiffin University in Ohio.

02/17/05 - Coldwater setter Kelsey Bowers has committed to Spring Arbor University.

02/15/04 - Lansing Christian middle hitter Kelsey Wesaw will play volleyball for the University of Findlay. Wesaw, who is a candidate for Miss Volleyball, was a starter on the state champion basketball team.

01/30/05 - Bedford Athletic Booster Classic Scores

01/27/05 (updated) - Ohio fans looking for some top notch volleyball need go no further than Toledo this coming weekend. Well, actually, you need to go to Bedford High School in Temperance, which is located two and a half miles across the state line.

The 6th ranked Kicking Mules will host a large field that includes western Michigan powers East Kentwood (4th) and Forest Hills Central (9th), plus Detroit toughies Bloomfield Hills Marian (5th), defending Class A champ Fraser, Dearborn Divine Child (honorable mention Class B) and Livonia Ladywood.

Hanover Horton, tied for #2 in Class C will also be there, along with St. John's, Bay City Western, Rochester Adams and Southgate Anderson.
